If you’ve been home-bound lately and spending a little extra time browsing new arrivals online (hopefully it isn’t just me!!) you’ll have noticed that our website is bright, shiny & new!
Discussion around re-branding our website began around a year ago! One of our goals in 2019 was to expand our national community. Our team has invested a lot of time in making that happen; between 3 pop ups across Western Canada, working in new collaborations, and dedicating time to chat with our clients over Instagram DM!
We’ve created so many amazing connections with women, both in Winnipeg and across Canada. A beautiful, user friendly website was just a natural progression in continuing those relationships with our long distance ladies rocking Mad!
To be quite honest, we aren’t particularly tech savvy at Mad lol!! We didn’t have a lot of the web-world lingo, and are terrible at tracking our own analytics (working on it!!) But we did have some pretty specific goals in how we wanted this site to function.
Our top three goals for the new website:
- User friendly & easy to navigate.
- Beautiful aesthetic that is cohesive with our other social platforms, especially Instagram!
- Versatile & effective on a desktop or mobile devices.
Nicola and myself met with Tyler and Jessie of One Plus One Design. They seamlessly combined our thoughts & requests with their creativity -and how AMAZING did it turn out!!
We initially had planned for a late April launch date, but obviously plans change! With all that is going on in the world, we’ve had to temporarily close our doors to the public. But- we still wanted to provide the Mad experience from the comfort & safety of home!
Mad turned into an office, photo shoot space, and shipping station. The team began shooting pretty much anything & everything in the shop!
This website launch was a major goal of mine for this year, and I’m so happy with how it’s turned out! Thank you to Tyler & Jessie for taking the time to push up this exciting debut!!
