Brunch is Served!
This January we celebrated our 3rd annual Mad Ambassador Brunch! Three years ago, we had a vision to bring together and celebrate the amazing women who are at the core of our Mad community. What better way to celebrate than over brunch?
Community is a word that comes up a lot when we plan events, and likely one you’ve been seeing as photos are shared and captioned. Whether you’re a local business like ours, or an individual, your community is a source of support, encouragement and growth.
Over the years, this event has grown and evolved and we know our community reaches so much further. Next year we hope to set the table with many more MAD Ambassadors!

We put our heart and soul into this event, pouring Mad into every single detail. Our cups, that begin full of ideas, creativity, and motivation slowly empty as crunch time brings on the pressure. But!! What we’ve experienced over and over is that having a group of women fill the room with their own vibrancy, drive, and loyal support fills us right back up again.
This is only possible because of you, so we can’t say enough about how thankful we are for you, our community of Mad Ambassadors.

Now onto the details!
Oh so many details to share!
In planning for the decor, we were inspired by a French countryside palette. Fresh blooms, vintage inspired vases, soft blue hues, and clean crisp whites!
For our STUNNING selfie station, we have to thank the extremely talented ladies of Glitter & Glue Parties. These two just have such an eye for detail and turned this flower cart into a blooming flower market!
The best part, guests were able to help themselves to a fresh picked bouquet to-go!

Our table scape was dressed to the nines with petite arrangements done by Lauren of Stonehouse Weddings. She truly captured that French country vibe with the olive leaf greenery & airy white florals.
The sweet paper details. From the invitations to the menu cards, nothing is missed by the amazing Robin of Robin Egg Blue Design. We think you’ll be hearing a lot more from her coming soon!!

Hosted in the private room at SMITH, our arriving guests mingled while sipping on grapefruit mimosas and grazing at the charcuterie board.
Once everyone had settled in, we were seated and served the most creamy & fluffy coconut chia pudding, eggs Florentine, and family style French toast. The sweetest treat was seeing our custom floral (shh! this is still a secret) topping the most delicious macarons from Jenna Rae Cakes. It’s safe to say that these beauties are taking up a lot of space in our camera roll haha!

The program began with a welcome speech from Nicola. Introducing the event, speaking on the past year with Mad, celebrating 10 years in business, and revealing what’s coming up next (but that is a whole other post!!)
We dined, laughed, chatted, and had a chance to soak in all the words our keynote speaker had to share! We were so thrilled to have Karina Walker, of Rising Strong join us. Her story spoke to comparison, body image, and self acceptance. Her words truly resonated with all of us, and gave us the opportunity to connect & be vulnerable with one another. You really need to check out her page, she’s wonderful!

Once the thank you’s had all been said, we were able to spend time chatting, snapping photos and just enjoying each other’s company.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for loving and supporting our shop! Cheers to another brunch, and another year of connecting with more MAD Ambassadors.
