Pizzeria Gusto has been our favourite restaurant since day one! We will never be tired of this place!! It’s the perfect spot for a date night, girls night out, or in our case, a staff meeting…? (it’s fine to drink wine when you’re strategizing right?)

What we love about Gusto is; the modern, yet comfortable atmosphere, the knowledgeable, passionate & friendly staff who always have a great recommendation to give, and of course the food!

We are truly obsessed with this place (Nicola went out to Gusto minimum 4 times for her birthday this year) which is why we are thrilled to feature them on the blog this week! Plus, this gave us an excuse to drink wine and sample their amazing new menu options at 11 am on a Tuesday, how is this even our job?!

Our first tasting was a charcuterie board that was too good to believe paired with our newest love Lambrusco! This is something we were super excited to be introduced to, a sparkling red. The ladies over here at Mad About Style are die hards for bubbly and this was something totally new to us, but we LOVED it.

Round two was the classic GNO menu; Margherita pizza and crisp rosé, you can’t go wrong with that combination! We forgot the simple goodness of a margherita pizza after ordering the Romesco for so long (  a favourite of Kelsey’s).

Final course was a calamari with a twist! It was stuffed with delicious sausage and cheese and was pair with a earthy and rich red wine.
