Spring has sprung at Mad About Style! As we approach the warmer season it’s time for some fresh wardrobe pieces to liven up our closets! After the craziness of a launch, the Mad team has finally had time to start shopping for themselves! We wanted to show you the staff’s favourite pieces and introduce some new faces!

I chose this gorgeous beige cropped sweater with scallop details at the neck, balloon sleeve and slits along the hem. I love this sweater because it’s a great basic that can be worn with jeans, trousers, or a high waisted skirt! The scalloped edge around the neckline adds pretty & feminine details to my go-to outfit of jeans and a sweater (all day, everyday.)

This spring I’m swooning over the sky blue tones! I love it’s lady like demeanour. When we first saw this floral peplum blouse I knew I had to have it. Transitioning from working at home to jumping into the shop on a daily basis my wardrobe is in need of comfortable, easy to pair blouses. I love that this piece dresses up denim with a nude pump. Perfect for a mom on the go who wants to feel pulled together & effortless.

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn – full time nursing student and part time Mad employee! I choose this slouchy grey sweater as my staff pick because it is perfect for a day of class and an evening for studying or going out! It is cozy and casual but can be dressed up with a bootie or down with a pair of slides.

It was so hard to narrow down my favourite pieces of the Spring Collection, but I had to have this suede bomber. The material is so soft and supple and the colour is so fresh. It is the perfect top layer for the warmer days of Spring! I paired it with a cute casual top with scallop detail for a little interest and my go-to jeans for Spring: the Just Black “Vintage Blue”

Hi I’m Stephanie! I started full time with Mad in November. When I’m not working here you can find me sipping a soy latte and cruising Instagram looking at dog posts. Spring in Winnipeg isn’t the warmest season so I picked this navy jumpsuit and paired it with this chic drape jacket and heels. It’s a great alternative to a dress for any special occasion you have this season (and you don’t have to shave your legs).
