The new year is the perfect opportunity to reassess your workout schedule and get motivated. To be perfectly honest, I’m rarely feeling extremely motivated to exercise! It’s a constant battle of wills to get up and moving.
The team was chatting about what ways we each like to get activity into our routines. Whether it’s an at-home Jillian Michaels video (those are killer!), or heading out to a gym.
My personal favourite is hot yoga. I love having the variety in classes so you can choose between a slower paced & flexibility focused class, or a fast flow class that gets your heart rate up! It’s also such a bonus in to escape the Winnipeg winter weather and get some of that serious heat I’ve been missing!
My resolution is to attend at least 2 classes a week, if not more! I just feel so much better and more motivated in other areas of life if I’m able to get that into my schedule! It helps to have time to focus on myself to keep myself happy and keep life balanced! – Isabel
This past year, we all tried a barré class at Sculpt Barre Winnipeg! That really kicked out butts into gear. It’s such a cool blend of toning, strength and flexibility, and the muscles you use are literally shake the whole time!
